The Four Corners Power Plant is operated by
Arizona Public Service at the turn-off just over 11 miles west on
Hwy. 64 to County Road 6675. Visitors can view major operating components
of a 2-million kilowatt coal-fired power plant providing energy for
the Southwest and state-of-the-art environmental control equipment.

Both plants generate electricity that is distributed throughout New Mexico, California and the Southwest.
