Navajo Lake State Park
Navajo Lake State Park is forty-five miles east of Farmington on NM 511. Navajo Lake offers 150 miles of shoreline. Boating and water skiing are popular here, and the lake provides good fishing for trout, salmon, bass, northern pike, catfish, and crappie.
Two concessionaire-operated marinas offer boat slips, fishing and boating supplies, as well as house boat and ski boat rentals.

Morgan Lake
Morgan Lake is 15 miles west of Farmington on Hwy. 64. The 1200-acre lake offers fantastic windsurfing in 75-degree water year-round. Swimming is not permitted. Picnic facilities are available. Fishing permits are issued by the Navajo tribe. For information call (928) 871-6451.
